Position: Frontline Connections Director/ Pastor Reports to: Executive Pastor Direct Reports: None Spiritual Gifts Needed: Discernment, Mercy, Encouragement, Exhortation, Service, Wisdom, Administration Employment Status: Full-Time, Salaried with Benefits Position Overview The Connections Director/Pastor is primarily responsible for guiding new attendees from their first visit through engagement in the discipleship process. This includes overseeing and providing vision for the Connections Team, the Café, the Parking Lot, and the Lobby experience. In collaboration with the Lead and Executive Pastors, the Connections Pastor will develop strategies to connect people into the life of Frontline Church. Working closely with the Discipleship Pastor, the Connections Pastor will help transition people from casual or regular attenders to active, committed members of Frontline Church. As this role is intended to serve as a pastoral role for a candidate who is not yet ordained, the eventual responsibilities include baptisms, occasional biblical counseling, and general shepherding as needed. If not yet ordained, the person would need to be open to pursuing credentialing. This role has significant Sunday-morning responsibilities, including a regular, consistent presence in the lobbies before, during, and after services, as well as meeting with prospective volunteers outside regular business hours.
